What a lovely house! Super lots of space both inside and outside. Children and the adults had a great time. Friendly people and you have nowhere to go when you are there. Highly recommended!

There were five of us on the Leijen estate for 14 days. Beforehand, communication was clear and straightforward. Delivery of aids for our seniors was also possible. Forwarding the newspaper was also no problem. There were plenty of opportunities for our daughter to play and it was fun to feed the fish and chickens and collect eggs. The location of the holiday address was ideal for us. Beach, sea and dunes was about a 20-minute drive away and so were beautiful towns like Alkmaar, Hoorn and Enkhuizen and Medemblik. The photos largely matched reality. Only thing was that the photos assumed that the garden also belonged to the holiday home, which in reality turned out not to be the case. There is a view of the garden and pond from the house, but there is no terrace next to the holiday home to sit on, even though it is easy to do so. In terms of the house it was ideal, it was also well clean. For our group composition, it was fine. We also used the jacuzzi a lot. Thanks for everything and the hospitality!

We spent this weekend with 10 ladies at the leijen. Super location with plenty to do around the house. Delicious cake on arrival and good beds. Delicious outside and sat in the jacuzzi. In short, super weekend. Fantastic location with plenty of room for everyone.

We really had a fantastic weekend at De Leijen! With a group of 10 ladies, we enjoyed ourselves all weekend in and around the house. Plenty to do and experience. The hospitality and friendliness of the owners was top. The house was clean and the beds slept well. In short, a top location where we will definitely come back!

We had the pleasure of spending a weekend in this lovely accommodation. Good contact with the hosts, with a delicious home-baked cake as a welcome present. The accommodation is spacious, both inside and outside. The jacuzzi, sauna, bakery service, possibility to bbq... what more could you want!

We really enjoyed a long weekend in the beautiful house De Leijen. It started Friday afternoon with a super nice welcome by Peter and a delicious cake baked by Tamara! The location and surroundings are top. In the large house you will not be short of anything, cosy living space with kitchen, large bedrooms with bathrooms, a jacuzzi and a sauna. In short, it was a successful weekend with 8 girlfriends.

How much we enjoyed your estate together. Everything has been thought of both for young and old. The accommodation is clean beds made on arrival. A lovely quiet location. The bakery service was also super! The jacuzzi, sauna and fireplace made our stay very pleasant.

What a fantastically fine location to be in! We, together with our children and grandchildren, enjoyed ourselves immensely in and around the house. The furnishing of the house is very complete. As the weather was beautiful, we were outside from breakfast until midnight. Under the veranda it was good until late at night - both in and next to the jacuzzi! The lovely playing field with play equipment, the boules courts, the table tennis table and finally the clog golf course ensured that we were all actively involved. The children could sail their boats on the pond in the garden and swim in the lake behind the property. The children loved that the sheep 'joined in' with clog golf and feeding the fish and collecting eggs in the henhouse was also a success. P.s. The cake tasted delicious!

A fine accommodation. Very suitable for children. We were kindly welcomed with baked cake made from eggs from our own henhouse. The house was clean and we had a great time. Highlights were the visit to Artis and Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen.

We enjoyed ourselves in the lovely clean spacious house, with all the amenities needed, amply provided. The large (play) garden, collecting eggs with the grandchildren and the family jaccuzie with the sauna provided cosy moments.

What super cosy days we were able to spend in Peter and Tamara's house. What a lovely place to spend time together in peace and quiet. Even the Christmas tree was ready 🎄 Highly recommended and I think it is definitely worth going back again (but in summer) to admire the beautiful surroundings. What a nice place to be! Both the cottage and the surroundings are beautiful. The cottage itself is immaculately cared for, furnished to perfection and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds sleep wonderfully, the jacuzzi and sauna provide the necessary moments of relaxation and the crackling fireplace accompanies every game night and dinner party with musical sizzle. The owners are fun and thoughtful people, happy to make you feel comfortable. We came here as students for a weekend away with friends, and expected to be completely devastated at the end. On the contrary: we haven't felt so rested in ages. I think that speaks volumes!

We had another wonderful weekend and despite the house being modified compared to last year, excellent sleeping arrangements for each. Another lovely welcome surprise and not forgetting the fresh eggs. Peter and Tamara are wonderfully hospitable and friendly. Communication is very smooth. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem wunderschönen Haus! Die Fotos haben nicht zu viel versprochen und es war genauso schön wie erwartet. Nicht nur das Haus mit einem großen Aufenthaltsraum/Wohnzimmer plus Pool (der bereits warm war als wir kamen) plus Sauna, sondern auch die Möglichkeiten drum herum waren super. Mit und ohne Kinder also ein tolles Haus zum Weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank noch mal an Peter und Tamara!

We had a lovely girlfriends' weekend (10 pers) and enjoyed the space, jaccuzi, sauna and swimming lake nearby. Worth repeating!
